In 1953 spotted by Friedländer at Kunsthandel H. Katz in The Hague as a De Bles .

Based on the central panel of the Triptych of St. Anthony in Lisbon, of which many followers (including Huys) have made a similar composition, including for example in Antwerp, Madrid, Sao Paulo, Liège, Zurich, New York, Zagreb, 's-Hertogenbosch, Merion Station, Rotterdam,' s-Gravenhage and various unknown private owners.
