History:
Before 1923 unknown Art Dealer in Spain. From September 1923 Art Dealer J.H.J. Mellaart in London. Then with Art Dealer Paul Cassirer in Berlin and in 1936 at Fritz Gutmann in Heemstede (Netherlands). For sale at Sotheby’s in 1964 and in 1967 it was in a private collection in USA. In 1983 bequeathed to the Museum by Mrs. Arthur Lynch-Staunton.
