Art Historian

Bernard M. Vermet (Leiden, 1955) worked as a curator for the Noordbrabants Museum (’s-Hertogenbosch). He initiated and co-ordinated the Hieronymus Bosch Exhibition (Rotterdam, 2001). Because the intended author of the contribution on Bosch’s style was unavailable, he also became one of the co-authors of the catalogue. Since then, and as far as Bosch is concerned, he has been focusing on the ‘reversal’ of the until 2001 generally accepted chronology within the oeuvre attributed to Bosch.
