Dr. Jeanne van Waadenoijen

Jeanne van Waadenoijen studied Art and Archeology at the University of Amsterdam, where she earned her PhD. She participated in several research projects (including ICONCLASS) and lectured at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and at Leiden University. A specialist in Italian Quattrocento art and Christian iconography, she lives near Florence, where she has worked for many years as a librarian at the Dutch University Institute for Art History. She published i.a. on Bosch, Starnina, Pierro della Francesca, Niccolò dell’ Abate.
