Owned by Gaston Ritter von Mallman, owner of Galerie in Berlin until 1926, but also owner of Catstle Blazokov in Mysteves in the Czech Republic. In 1926 at the Kunstmarkt in Vienna. On January 20/21, 1927 by Anderson Galleries, auctioned as a Jheronimus Bosch from the collection of HIH Archduke Leopold Salvator, the Marquess of Reading etc., as a true Jheronimus Bosch. Friedlander 1927, No. 71. It is not yet clear whether the painting was subsequently added to V. Mallmann's collection in Blaschkow (Czech Republic ???) or whether it is located in Vienna. Therefore included in this overview at last known location: Anderson Galleries.
