According Friedländer is an unknown privately in Frankfurt owner first owner of this painting and in 1949 Mr. H. Leyendecker from Wiesbaden. Art trade Lempertz in Cologne auctioned it on May 7, 1952 lot no. 885 as a Jan Mandijn.
