A column on the right side of Jesus Christ (compare the painting in the Indianapolis Museum of Art) was removed during the 1938 restoration. The painting has been shortened at the bottom.
The composition is similar to the paintings in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Museum Kroma in Uden and the Boston Museum of FIne Arts.
