History:
In 1810, the central panel was donated to the St. Antonius Brotherhood in Tiel, which already had an altar in St. Martin's Church in the Middle Ages. The side panels were owned by the Lidth de Jeude family before 1880, who sold them to JH Verwey for twenty guilders in that year. After his death, the shutters were bequeathed to the municipality of Tiel. The triptych was now complete and has been hanging in the Museum since 1976.
