Auctioned by Art dealer Adolf Weinmuller on September 27/29, 1967 lot 1813.This is an example of one of the many paintings that were described by Unverfehrt (cat.58, fig. 100), but whose whereabouts are unknown and also no color image is available (2019).

It has now been established (september 2020) on the website 'artnet.com' that this painting has been auctioned three times, namely on July 10, 1998, October 12, 2000 and June 1, 2001. The last auction probably at Drouot in Paris, accopannied by a small color photo of poor quality .

Via Spanish private property (as a Mandijn) ended up in 1967 at Weinmuller (as a Pieter Huijs). Was previously signaled at Galerie Kurt Meissner in Zurich and Art dealer J. Gans in The Hague and Nice (1948). The painting was auctioned at Weinmuller on September 27/29, 1967, lot no. 1813. According website 'artnet.com' 3x auctioned (Huys). On July 10, 1998, on October 12 2000 and on June 1, 2001 - probably by Drouot in Paris)

In May 2012 is the book appeared “Kunsthandel im Nationalsozialismus: Adolf Weinmüller in München und Wien” from Meike Hopp. Adolf Weinmüller is born in 1886 en died in 1956.
