History:
Probably the painting that was sold at Christies London as a Bosch on 13-5-1949, no 53 or 33 from the Collection of the Duke of Gloucester. On July 8, 1992, lot 313 sold by Sotheby's in London as a Marcel Coffermans. On November 16, 2005, lot no. 143 auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam. Owned by the Museum since 2005
