When Bosch’s complete oeuvre is studied, it is not difficult to see him as a religious, truly Christian artist. Although some people are inclined to pay too much attention to the monsters and satyrs in his works. Those who aren’t Dutchmen, and among the Dutchmen even those who aren’t southerners, find it difficult to grasp the true meaning of Bosch’s paintings.
