This popularizing publication consists of three parts. The first part offers a short story by the Italian author Antonio Tabucchi, but it is not very clear why this text appears in a book about Bosch. The second part offers 49 colour illustrations (of good quality) of the Lisbon St. Anthony triptych. In the third part José Luis Porfirio (in 1989 curator of the Lisbon Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga) offers some superficial, concise and vague comments on Bosch in general and on the Lisbon triptych in particular. It is obvious that this book does not break new ground.
