In this thin booklet Mosmans focuses on the two wings of the Last Judgment play that was installed in the ’s-Hertogenbosch St John’s Church in the early sixteenth century. According to Mosmans the paintings (tempera on canvas), representing the Holy Virgin with Child and St John the Evangelist, were painted by Bosch in 1513.
Mosmans’ text – in particular where his ideas about Bosch are concerned – can only be called art-historical amateurishness. About this, compare Le Blanc 1990.
