Inscription content: Lettered "Hiero Bos. Inventor" on image tacked above the fire-place, engraver's monogram on box to the right of the fire-place flu, and "H.Cock. excudebat.1567" and bottom centre; with six lines of French verse on the left side of the lower margin and six lines of Flemish verse to the right side of the lower margin.
