The painting was part of the exhibition 'Hieronymus Bosch Erbe' of 25 February-28 may 2017 in the villa Vauban-Musée d'Art de la ville de Luxembourg

History:

Before 1952 in private possession of Léon de Zubaloff from Moscow. In 1952 signaled at Art Trade Abels in Cologne. According to Unverfehrt the painting belonged to the collection of Marshall C. Spink in 1963, possibly part of the private collection of Janssen.
